Rapid Neurofascial Reset
Rapid Neurofascial Reset (NFR) is a soft tissue therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous systems role in alleviating tension and restrictions within muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. This treatment is lotion-free and done over the clothing.

Most conditions all have one thing in common: the pain they cause is often a direct result of neurological hypersensitivity. This means that the nervous system has become hyper-vigilant and sensitized.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does neurological hypersensitivity happen?

Neurological hypersensitivity is the direct cause of neurogenic inflammation likely caused by the chronic artifacts of inflammation contributing to sympathetic dominance in the body – in other words the brain has become stressed creating a lockdown in the bodily tissue, this can happen in several ways.

Acute conditions (pulls, tears, etc.) old injuries (chronic inflammation) accumulation of small tears (micro-trauma). Each of these factors can cause the brain to lock down the tissue producing pain, loss of strength, and decreased range of motion in the affected area.

As the process continues, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons cause tendinitis, and nerves can become entrapped.

Why choose rapid NFR?

Clients choose rapid because of the “rapid response to treatment”. Treating the tissue at the neurological level changes the tissue at the speed of the nervous system.
